The Manx Credit Union is run entirely by volunteers. All the volunteers who work in our office or behind the scenes are unpaid, as is our management team and Board of Directors.

Many of our colleagues are professional people who work or have worked in the financial services industry, others come from different walks of life but every volunteer firmly believes the Isle of Man should have the services of a credit union and shows their support by freely giving their time and expertise.

Although our volunteers are unpaid, you can expect a high level of professionalism. The Manx Credit Union is licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority and is required to abide by a wide range of financial regulation and legislation as well as a strict code of confidentiality.  We are also affiliated to a trade association from whom we receive advice and training.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help us grow and expand the credit union.
